I started using literacy take home bags this year. Well, I've really only done one and that was inspired by The Very Busy Kindergarten for If you Give a Mouse a Cookie. This has gone over really well and the kids love it. I would love to do another one but I'm in need of an idea. So if you have a great idea of something you do, please comment and you can be entered in the giveaway as many times as you comment. I'm super excited about my first giveaway. You can enter through Friday night. I'll hopefully figure out how to do a random drawing by then. Although my boyfriend, did volunteer to draw a comment out of a hat. I love using take home literacy bags! I have a fabulous collection of bags.....I joined a few years ago the monthly take home bags from teacherbagsandbeyond.com (you might have to break up the words to get there). Anyway, my kiddos have loved using them so far!

I also have barely begun to use literacy bags. I have one that I send home with the student of the week, and am having parents work on the ones that will go home more frequently during the second semester!!
