Spring Break = Linky Party Fun

So I found a new blog to stalk which is always fun.

Literacy Spark
Jessica is hosting a linky party about anticipating this month. I can't believe it's April already. I can't believe that there are only 8 weeks left of school. I have so much to do in that short amount of time.

I am so glad that spring has sprung. When I look at the weather for next week, the highs are in the 70s and there is suppose to be sunshine. I need to get out for recess as much as the kids do. Plus we can do fun things like write our popcorn words, spelling words, and math facts with sidewalk chalk. I've been wanting to do that for a while and it just hasn't been warm enough. I don't think dreading our testing is that unusual. So no explanation is needed. I really do need to focus this last 8 weeks of school to help make sure the kids are ready for second grade. I'll be combing my common core standards and hitting things hard. I also will be trying to work as much as possible in small groups to try to get the kids that are struggling with some skills. So that's what I'm looking forward to. Be sure to head over to Literacy Sparks and join the party. Maybe this will be my last linky party of the week. But probably not. I need to be working today on some packs for TPT. So wish me luck. I can still do that and watch my trashy tv, right?

  1. Thanks for linking up! Love the template. Do you have standardized testing in first grade?? I spend my time watching TV while making products too...I have to be multitasking! I am your newest follower.
