It's Currently Spring Break!

I had every intention of posting this weekend but I was having too much celebrating Easter with my family. My sister, brother in law and niece came up on Saturday for an Easter egg hunt and then Sunday was all about family. We had a great weekend. I loved seeing my sweet girls looking for eggs.
Today was my first official day of spring break. (The weekend doesn't count.) I enjoyed doing not much of anything but watching a marathon of Real Housewives of the OC. Don't judge. It was the perfect mind numbing distraction. Tomorrow I plan on doing something. So I'm joining Farley's monthly currently party. I don't think I've ever linked up on the actual first before.
My hubby is home now so no more trashy tv. It's the opening of the Braves baseball season, so I'm indulging him. Being on spring break makes me start thinking about summer and having some time off. I still have a lot to do with my kids before the summer and I'll miss them a ton but I do enjoy having time to do things. One of the things I need to do is get our house organized. It seems like it is in a constant state of disarray. I've been working on changing my eating habits and getting back to exercise. I'm almost 5 months out from my knee surgery so the past month I've been able to get back into walking. I've lost almost 5 pounds over the past month. I need to lose some weight but my main goal is to develop some healthier habits. I want Chris and I to have better eating habits before we have kids. This past weekend, I got a little off track with all the Easter fun.
Last is my advice. I love blogging and it should be something fun. It shouldn't be anything that stresses you out. If it is stressing you out, you're doing it wrong.
Be sure to head over to Farley's party and check out everyone else's currently.

  1. I love the Real Housewives series! It is the best mindless TV out there!

  2. I love your advice and I am (for some reason) always trying to get back on track eating healthy!! Enjoy your spring break.

  3. Love every minute of break! I spend all my time being so busy I get nothing done for work I want! Good luck getting healthy! It is hard but so worth it! I've lost 40 pounds this year and I've eaten crappy the past two weeks and I feel crappy! Clean eating has given me so much more energy! Have fun!
